The Delhi High Court issued a notice to the Centre on a Petition filed by Mr. Sanjiiv Kkumar challenging the Constitutional validity of Section 375 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code and demanding Gender neutral rape provisions.The petition emphasizes that Male Rape is a reality and cannot be denied and male rape is not a figment of imagination and men should also have protection equal to that of a woman in India.
