The Supreme Court put a hold sale of fire crackers in Delhi and NCR region stating that sale will get implemented only from November 1, 2017. A bench headed by Justice A K Sikri said it wanted to test the effect of the ban on air quality after Diwali noting that each year festival leaves the air in Delhi thick with smoke.
