In a short but significant Judgement, additional district judge of the Patiala House Courts, Delhi awarded damages of Rs. 2 Lakhs to Lokendra Singh Bati, a Noida. Mr Bati sued the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs for erroneously seizing his passport at the airport on the basis of a police case filed against him and his name appeared in the Look Out Circular.
