Delhi HC Sets Aside Praful Patel’s Appointment As The President Of AIFF; Appoints S.Y. Quraishi As Administrator

The Delhi High Court has quashed the election of the office holders of All India Football Federation (AIFF), comprising their President Mr. Praful Patel, demanding re-election within 5 months. Meanwhile S.Y. Quraishi, the former Chief Election Comissioner has been appointed as the Administrator. This decision was taken on hearing a petition filed by Mr. Rahul Mehra, who stated that last year elections violated the National Sports Code.
