The Supreme Court of India is going digital, given the COVID-19 scare, limiting human interaction. The Chief Justice of India S A Bobde, in the morning session, stated that the filing in the Supreme Court would be done online via e-filing, launched in 2018 and the dates of hearings (if any) will be sent to the lawyers vide e-mails. The steps taken also advance, perhaps unintentionally, towards a paperless judiciary.
