The common High Court of J&K and Ladakh swore in Justice Rajnesh Oswal, its first Judge under the Indian Constitution on 2nd April 2020. The swearing ceremony was broadcasted live on the internet owing to the nationwide lockdown.
Registrar-General Sanjay Dhar read out the warrant of appointment to Justice Oswal while Chief Justice of J&K High Court Gita Mittal administered the oath of office.
