Bombay High Court quashed and set aside an order of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) which directed a probe into the ‘cartelisation’ charge levelled against them by new market player Reliance Jio. Bombay High Court stated that the order by CCI and consequential notices issued by Director General as illegal and perverse. Bombay High Court also noted that every majority decision made cannot be termed as “Cartelisation”.
