A Writ Petition challenging the Criminal Laws (Rajasthan Amendment) Ordinance, 2017, has been launched in the Rajasthan High Court. It is mandatory to obtain a Government sanction before the investigation and a time limit of 180 days has been provided to the authorities to consider a sanction request. If no decision is taken within the time limit, the sanction would be considered to have been provided.
