Legal Profession Needs Independent Body For Regulation of Fee and Ethics: Centre & SC

 

The Apex Court and the Centre supported the establishing of an independent body for regulation of fees and ethics in the legal profession as the regulatory framework needs a review. Further, it was suggested that the Bar Council of India may introduce a mechanism for feedback by clients on advocates performance to ensure  good quality of service.
