A Petition was filed in the Madras High court regarding the ban on two Tamil books ‘Meendezhum Pandiyar Varalaru’ and ‘Venthar Kulathin Irupppidam Ethu?’ written by Mr. K. Senthil Mallar, stating that content was vulgar and disrespectful to people from different castes and communities. HC has ordered the Tamil Nadu government to remove the ban on the books by removing or modifying the provoking content.
