The Delhi High Court dismissed the appeal challenging the judgement enforced on the appellants under section 376(2)(g) (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners claimed that they were falsely involved and the victim did not bear any injury marks on her body. HC stated that a rape survivor’s testimony cannot be mistrusted solely on the basis of absence of injuries on her body.
