The Gujarat High Court has termed Marital Rape as a disgraceful offence and is ready to inspect the question whether a wife can initiate prosecution against her husband for unnatural sex punishable under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. HC stated tha marital rape has damaged the trust and confidence in the institution of marriage and a plenty of woman have faced it.
