SC Disposes Petition Against Ranbaxy, But Directs Central Drug Standard Control Organisation To Take Appropriate Steps, In Case Of Any Deficiency
The Supreme Court has rejected the petition filed by Advocate Manohar Lal Sharma against Ranbaxy Laboratories (Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd). Mr. Sharma requested for the cancellation of Ranbaxy’s manufacturing licence on the basis that it misrepresented data and sold contaminated products in the U.S. SC has directed Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) to take appropriate steps if there’s any deficiency.
