The Chief Justice Dipak Misra led a bench of the Supreme Court referred to a constitution bench for the issue of formulating a law on action to be taken against individuals in authority or holding a public office or governance in-charge making irresponsible statements. Earlier the court also framed four questions while a petition had been filed against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan for his statement against the Bulandshar gang rape.
