The Attorney General K.K. Venugopal, requested the Supreme Court that the Aadhaar case should be be heard in March as the centre is willing to extend the deadline for linking various services to Aadhaar till March, 2018. Advocate Gopal Subramanian also added that there should be no compulsion of linking various services with Aadhaar if the hearing is postponed but Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said that he will try to constitute a bench for this matter by the end of November.
