The Supreme has taken a step ahead in the famous Hadiya Case by ordering Ashokan, a 24 year old woman Hadiya’s father to produce her in front of the court on November 27 at 3 pm to determine whether she, an adult, after her conversion had willingly agreed to marry Shafin Jahan, a criminal. It has decided to speak to her not in camera but in open court.
